The Vacancy for part-time ICT Officer at GMCVO came across my desk this morning, and I felt it was worth posting here for the benefit of anyone who might be looking for PHP work. It’s a junior PHP role, mainly focusing on Drupal and CiviCRM installations in Linux environments for external organisations.
The salary isn’t too bad for the voluntary sector – if it was a full-time position it would work out at around £26,000, plus there is a decent (by modern standards) pension contribution. Benefits include flexible hours and a permanent contract, and it appears from the description that this role is not tied to any specific pot of funding which might be withdrawn.
The closing date is 22nd April 2012, so you have just under three weeks to prepare and submit an application.
