Bootstrap, the popular front-end framework which makes it easy to develop responsive websites, has seen a new release this week. The biggest change is in the documentation, which is a major improvement on the 2.x releases. The framework is also ‘mobile first’ – a decision which I think is premature but may turn out to be a masterful piece of foresight.
The only downside at present is that Chrome and Firefox for Linux are unsupported, as is Internet Explorer 6 and 7. Depending on your target audience, this may be an issue – e.g. at a previous employment I had to deal with a large number of IE 6/7 visitors who could not upgrade.
